The Corporation of the City of St. Thomas (the City) is issuing this Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) to solicit responses from interested, qualified, contractors (Respondents) who are capable of undertaking the Woodworth Sewage Pumping Station (Woodworth SPS) project as noted in the RFPQ documents. The project is in support of the Yarmouth Yards Industrial Development and is critical to enable future growth in the City. In general, the project consists of a new pumping station firm capacity 1,000 l/s in a wet / dry well configuration complete with mechanical screening to be constructed north of the existing Woodworth SPS at 4 Joyce Street, St. Thomas, ON. Upon commissioning of the new station, the existing pumping station will be de-commissioned and demolished. This is the first stage in a two-stage process. It is anticipated that a request for tender will be issued December 2025.
