The City of St. Thomas invites bids for the provision of all labour, material and equipment for the interior office renovations of the Main Floor level of the Planning Annex. The
scope of work for this project consists of: 1. Demolition: a. Demolition of existing framed partitions. b. Removal of existing service counter. c. Removal of portions of the existing suspended ceilings. d. Removal of existing light fixtures. e. Partial demolition of existing plumbing f. Partial demolition of existing mechanical system. 2. Construction: a. Removal and storage of existing window coverings and reinstallation. b. Supply and installation of new demising walls, doors, windows, service counter and secure wall. New constructions to be finished to stain/paint ready for finish. c. Supply and installation of new millwork and laminate counters. d. Supply and installation of new doors and door frames, with hardware. e. Modifications and extension of existing mechanical ventilation system. f. Supply and installation of new sump pump. g. Design, supply and installation of sprinkler system in renovated office areas. h. Supply and installation of new lighting, power, data and raceways in renovated areas. 3. Pricing is to be broken down in accordance with the following description and in accordance with the Pricing Schedule(s): a. Lump sum price for the interior renovations as noted above and in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Work after regular office hours is permitted if desired or required. Please indicate on bid form if after hours work is included in price. Separate Price for removal of and replacement of existing carpeting in areas as noted on drawing A-3 – Finishes Plan. |
