The City of St. Thomas (the City) is seeking professional services to provide condition assessments for the entire roadway network, including roadways and sidewalks in support of the City’s Asset Management for maintenance and asset planning purposes. This requires detailed pavement and sidewalk condition information for effective capital planning and asset management. Condition surveys are required for all open road allowances within the municipal boundaries of the City. The City owns and maintains approximately 316 centerline kms (659 lane kms) of road network comprised of a mix of roads classified as Local, Collector, and Arterial. The City has divided the municipal road network into 1316 segments (from intersection to intersection), each having a unique identification number. The City owns and maintains approximately 212 km of sidewalk and 312 km of concrete curb. |
